This Monday, March 23, the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, emphasized that today “the struggles of the working classes are the struggles of the Revolution”, stressing that this is why they accompany the People in the march to demand the lifting of sanctions against the country.

“The struggles of the working class are the struggles of the Bolivarian Revolution, that's why we're on the street accompanying it,” he said during the March to demand the lifting of sanctions in Caracas.

He also assured that, once the sanctions are lifted, “this country will be in the same conditions as when Commander Hugo Chávez was there, we will return to housing construction, to a powerful health system, we will have the highest wage system in America and we will return to education with everything.”

In addition, he took the opportunity to question those sectors of the extreme right that from outside insist on making calls to destabilize the country.

“Those who are out there today, the widowers and widows of the Fourth Republic, speaking on behalf of the workers were the same people who sold the social benefits of the workers and are there in the comfort of living abroad calling for the subversion of order here in Venezuela,” he said.

At the same time, he stressed that these same sectors are the ones that have supported the fact that Venezuela is subject in recent years to the most perverse economic sanctions by the government of the United States, the European Union and other countries.
