This Wednesday, February 25, the Secretary General of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, paid tribute to the National Experimental Security University (UNES), as part of the commemoration of its 17th Anniversary of its creation.

Commander Hugo Chávez's dream come true in Revolution,” he highlighted during his Con El Mazo Dando program, on broadcast number 562, in which he stated that “I said these days that being a police officer is in fashion, because there are things that are changing.”

In this regard, he specified that unlike previous years, last year alone, “there were seven thousand young people applying to join UNES, now we have 32 thousand young people who have applied.”

Cabello recalled that in Venezuela firefighters were volunteers, “all with the great courage to leave everything to be a firefighter.”

“Nowadays they provide their service, they are trained to be firefighters. In general, we are adding up little by little, professionalizing so that everyone knows what to do,” he said.
