The president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, announced this Monday that a diplomatic delegation will soon leave for Washington, with the objective of starting a new phase of formal dialogues with the Government of the United States (USA).

“This week, the delegation of diplomats will be leaving for Washington, who are going to assume the beginning of this new phase of diplomatic and political relations and dialogues between our governments,” Rodríguez explained from the Miraflores Palace, during a meeting with national and international investors.

During the meeting, the president in charge stressed the importance of moving from a model of “temporary licenses”, such as those granted to companies such as Chevron, to a system of permanent legal security that provides certainty for investments in the short, medium and long term.

“I want them on my part and on behalf of the Government of Venezuela to ratify and accept the certain idea that this is our provision,” he said.
