Diplomatic meeting in Geneva ratifies solidarity and alliance between Venezuela and Russia

The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and the Russian Federation continue to strengthen their cooperative relations and their common vision of mutual respect and defense of the principles of the Charter of the United Nations, in a bilateral meeting held this Tuesday between the Venezuelan Deputy Minister for Multilateral Issues, Rubén Darío Molina, and his foreign relations counterpart of the Eurasian country, Dmitry Lyubinsky, in Geneva.
The meeting takes place in the context of the 61st session of the Human Rights Council of the United Nations, based in this Swiss city.
During the conversation, the diplomats reaffirmed their solidarity and mutual support in the face of the challenges faced by both countries in global geopolitics, in line with the shared principles of respect for the sovereignty of States, non-interference in internal affairs and self-determination of peoples.
In the same way, they reiterated the willingness of their governments to continue consolidating cooperation in key areas.
