The General Directorate of Crime Prevention (DPD) held a national meeting of regional authorities in Caracas, with the purpose of presenting the operational balance sheets of the Peace and Life Movement, an initiative that reaffirms the will to build citizen coexistence.
During the day, the delegations of each state expressed the scope of their efforts, emphasizing the importance of community outreach, and it was emphasized that the priority is to ensure that each beneficiary has decent spaces, appropriate infrastructures and excellent human care.
This movement was created by the Constitutional President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros, and is promoted by the Sectorial Vice President of Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón.
The quality of the service presented during the balance sheet was not only limited to infrastructure, but also covered the most vulnerable sectors of society, older adults and people with disabilities, with prioritized care to ensure their well-being.
In addition, values and healthy recreation were promoted among young people, with the active participation of sports instructors in the Bases of Peace and Life, who act as agents for the early prevention of crime.
Each regional delegation was emphatic in pointing out the challenges ahead. Among the key points discussed are public awareness to promote a sense of belonging for the maintenance of sports spaces.
They also have strategies for preventive planning and optimizing activity schedules to maximize impact on communities.
“We have an integrated team of culture, sports and religious sectors that work tirelessly to defend peace and the Bolivarian Revolution,” said Helen Guialiani, representative of the Delta Amacuro state.
During the presentations, the management of the DPD was thanked for its constant support in the comprehensive approach to the population.
With this meeting, the Bolivarian Government confirms that prevention is the most powerful tool to guarantee the nation's security.
