Emergency Care Brigades deployed after falling trees in La Campiña after heavy rains

The Emergency Care Brigades and the Popular Power Solutions Brigades are deployed on Los Huerto Street, near PDVSA La Campiña, El Recreo parish, to deal with the fall of large branches of a mahogany-type tree, an incident caused by the rains recorded this afternoon, August 22, 2026

The technical team carries out tasks of chopping and sectioning plant material, in addition to the immediate collection of waste on site, which allows the removal of the pedestrian and vehicle passage, while helping to prevent risks for adjacent communities and ensure safety in this high-traffic area, the Mayor's Office of Caracas reports on its Instagram account.

The activation of these brigades is part of the preventive scheme that is maintained in the city during the rainy season, in order to immediately address any incident associated with falling trees, minor landslides or accumulation of plant material.
