If Venezuela were not subject to sanctions, it could move faster towards economic and productive development, said the sector's vice-president for Politics, Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón.
“We haven't stopped here because every day we invent a new one. But, without a doubt, if this country did not have sanctions, if they had not indicated it, we would move much faster,” said Cabello during a meeting with peasants from the state of Falcón, as part of the second phase of the pilgrimage to demand the end of economic sanctions.
In the same way, during the meeting, Cabello called on all Venezuelans to join in working for the country's development. “If anyone has made an effort to bring together all the sectors, it is the Bolivarian Revolution. Forgotten sectors of a lifetime have been asked to join. There are some who misunderstand and believe that this call is about doing what they say, about imposing the decision of minorities on the majorities,” he stressed.
