FANB disabled an aircraft in the state of Amazonas

Members of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) disabled an aircraft, according to information issued by G/J Domingo Hernández Lárez, Strategic Operational Commander (CEO).

In this regard, he specified that within the framework of Operation Bolivarian Shield, one aircraft was disabled, totaling 434 that have been disabled since the enactment of the Air Space Defense Control Act.

On his Telegram channel, Hernández explained that the incident occurred when officials “carrying out patrolling and searching missions of the area, route and zone, in the sector called 'El Piojo', located in the Autana municipality of the state of Amazonas, located and disabled one (01) fixed-wing aircraft, model Barón 58, acronym PR-NIB, white color with stripes of blue, red wine and gold”.

In addition, 3,800 liters of fuel and 200 liters of aeroshell oil were seized.
