Members of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) destroyed, in Bolívar state, a camp used by international Structured Organized Crime Groups (GEDO) dedicated to illegal drug trafficking.

According to a press release from the Ministry of People's Power for Interior Relations, Justice and Peace, this structure was found by uniformed personnel while carrying out patrolling tasks in the Parguaza sector, in the Cedeño municipality of Bolívar state.

In that camp, 212.84 kilograms of cocaine were seized; eight military garments alluding to an irregular armed border group; two 60mm mortar grenades (5M-G); eight artisanal explosives; and two diesel engines for semi-submersibles.

This case was ordered by the Public Prosecutor's Office.
