First Meeting of the National Council of Universities discussed new academic offers for 2026

The First Meeting of the National Council of Universities (CNU) in 2026, led by the Minister of Popular Power for University Education, Ricardo Sánchez, was held to address the debate and discussion of new academic offerings at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
In this regard, the minister indicated that the Program for Peace and Democratic Coexistence was also incorporated into this day, which calls for addressing the challenges and challenges of what this program means, which is essentially the spirit of Venezuelan universities.
In the same way, he stressed that the coexistence between teachers, students and the entire university environment will make it possible to build contributions for peace within its core.
He also reported that this Thursday, March 12, five new postgraduate specializations were approved for the University of Los Andes (ULA), the University of Carabobo and the University of Zulia (LUZ), in public health systems.
As for offers in engineering and basic sciences and mathematics, 45 new academic offers were approved at the graduate level as well.
