Foreign Minister Yván Gil expressed condolences from the Venezuelan people for the terrorist attack in Iran

The Minister of People's Power for Foreign Affairs,
Yván Gil, signed this Tuesday, on behalf of the Venezuelan People and Government, the
book of condolences at the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in
Caracas, for the martyrs of the terrorist attack in the city of Kerman, which occurred on January 3.
The Foreign Minister was accompanied by the Deputy Minister for
Asia, the Middle East and Oceania, Tatiana Pugh Moreno, and they were received at the diplomatic headquarters by Ambassador Hojat Soltani.
On January 3, Minister Gil, through his account on the social network X, published: “Venezuela condemns
in the strongest terms the terrorist attack that occurred in the city of Kerman, in
the framework of the
commemoration of the 4th anniversary of the martyrdom of General Qasem Soleimani.”
“These cowardly attacks against innocent people highlight
the relevance of the struggle of General Qasem Soleimani, who dedicated his life to
combating terrorism and the intervention of Western powers in the Middle East,” said the Venezuelan diplomat.
