Through his official Telegram channel, the Minister of People's Power for Foreign Affairs, Yvan Gil, announced the start of the Multilateral Negotiations Course 2026, a political training program aimed at strengthening the nation's strategic capacities on the international stage.
The foreign minister emphasized that this training space is based on the teachings of the Liberator Simon Bolivar, taking Bolivarian Peace Diplomacy as its guiding axis and added that the central objective is to deepen the Bolivarian conception of an “authentic peace”, which transcends the cessation of hostilities to consolidate itself as a model of full freedom, social justice and the sovereignty of peoples.
He also stressed that diplomacy, under the legacy of the Liberator, must act as a vital tool to promote national cohesion and deep integration among the peoples of the South (South-South). In this regard, he urged participants to master the art of multilateral relations, always prioritizing mutual respect, self-determination and integral development in the face of the complexities of the current geopolitical landscape.
Foreign Minister Gil stressed that this program will provide future negotiators with critical tools for the defense of national interests in international forums, reaffirming the State's commitment to a dignified, sovereign and profoundly integrationist foreign policy.
