FUNVISIS reports 4.3 earthquake in San Carlos, Cojedes state

The Venezuelan Foundation for Seismological Research (FUNVISIS) reported this Monday an earthquake of 4.3 to 39 kilometers northwest of San Carlos, Cojedes state.

FUNVISIS, through its social networks, explained that the earthquake occurred at 11:11 in the morning at a depth of 5 kilometers and 47 kilometers northeast of Acarigua.

Earlier, the entity reported another 4.6 event with an epicenter 2 kilometers northeast of Macuro, Sucre state, and at a depth of 90.9 kilometers.

After the earthquakes of last June 24, to date, more than 1,300 aftershocks have been reported.
