Gaiteros beats Guaiquerís 88-84 to extend their unbeatability

Gaiteros del Zulia continues with their label of team to win this season of the Professional Basketball Super League (SPB) after defeating Guaiquerís de Margarita by a score of 88-84 at Pedro Elías Belisario Aponte in the city of Maracaibo.

Nazhiah Carter led the musical group after scoring 20 points, distributing two assists and dropping two rebounds. Meanwhile, captain “Tapipa” Duarte scored 20 points, dropped five rebounds and added a couple of assists.

The match was even from the first half, with Gaiteros going to halftime with an advantage of only four points (46-42) and it wasn't until the fourth final that the current champions gave everything to score 20 points and rallied to take the victory, since they had started the period with a 69-68 disadvantage.
