GNB seized 6.5 kilos of marijuana in Sucre and Zulia

The Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) seized 6 kilos 150 grams of marijuana in two procedures carried out in the states of Sucre and Zulia respectively.

In the first procedure, the uniformed personnel seized, through patrolling work in the Las Palomas sector, Sucre municipality of the state of Sucre, 3 kilos 748 grams of marijuana, which were transported hidden inside the spare rubber of a vehicle.

For this reason, a citizen was apprehended and placed under the command of the Public Prosecutor's Office.

Also, in the 4th of October sector, in the Maracaibo municipality, in the state of Zulia, uniformed personnel found 6 wrappers with 2 kilos 762 grams of marijuana buried.

For this fact, two men were arrested and, in addition, a 9 mm pistol and a facsimile of the firearm were seized, both of whom were ordered by the Public Prosecutor's Office.
