Government delivers order Heroes and Heroines of Aragua to more than 300 officials of the entity

In a solemn ceremony held at the headquarters of the Central Police Command of the Aragua state, Governor Joana Sánchez presented the Heroes and Heroines of Aragua award to 369 men and women who risked their lives in search, rescue and comprehensive care following the double earthquake recorded a month ago in the country.
During the activity, the regional president highlighted the spirit of brotherhood, discipline and courage demonstrated by the various security forces, emergency care agencies, public service companies and the voluntary force that were tirelessly deployed.
“We are completely proud and happy that you are part of the Aragueñity. Civil Protection is one, the firefighters, the Police, the National Guard, the public services and our volunteers. An immense recognition on the part of the more than two million inhabitants of this land,” he said.
In this regard, a total of 369 awards were awarded to 125 Civil Protection and Disaster Management officials, 86 officers from the different municipal orange labor fronts and 2 from the state of La Guaira, 71 firefighters, 6 from Vías Aragua, 15 from FUNDARAGUA, three from Public Works, 25 police officers, three from Misión Barrio Adentro, five volunteers and 11 groups.
In addition, special recognition was given to the Civil Protection delegation of the state of La Guaira, which came in solidarity with the entity.
