Government of Anzoátegui begins rehabilitation of the Julián Temístocles Maza Library in Barcelona

The governor of the state of Anzoátegui, Luis José Marcano announced the start of the rehabilitation and recovery of the Julián Temístocles Maza Public Library in Barcelona,.

Through a press release from the regional government, it was reported that the entity's first civil authority visited the enclosure located on Eulalia Buroz Street and in front of the Casa Fuerte and from there announced the project to recover the iconic cultural space as part of the Management Plan for 2024.

Marcano inspected the conditions of the headquarters, and explained that among the works to be undertaken is the recovery of the amphitheater, a space that has been disabled since 1996, as a result of a fire. The rehabilitation project, which emerged from a prior diagnosis of the infrastructure, contemplates resolving damage caused by roof leaks, electrical system, indoor air conditioning, lighting and painting .
