Government of Aragua announces closure of access roads to Ocumare de la Costa and Choroní this Sunday

The Secretary of Public Security of the state of Aragua, G/D Marlon Dulcey Parada, reported that this Sunday, January 7, the passage of vehicles from Maracay to the state's coast will be restricted.

The measure will take effect at 2:00pm in order to ensure greater traffic flow during the return of seasonal workers through the Safe Christmas Security system 2021-2022.

The official stressed that “the closure is intended to provide exclusivity to the road in the direction of Choroní - Maracay and Ocumare de la Costa - Maracay”.

He also commented that in this way a safe and timely return can be guaranteed, “hoping that the population can understand the meaning of these instructions, which the regional government does with the intention of honoring the commitment to guarantee the safe return, peace and tranquility of the users of this route,” the senior official explained in a press release from the government of the state of Aragua.
