Government of Caracas advances in the rehabilitation of buildings in the parishes of San Pedro and El Recreo

The Government of Caracas deployed specialized crews to deal with the damage caused by the recent earthquake in San Pedro parish, where technical teams work in the Santa Lucía building, located on Manuel Díaz Rodríguez Avenue, focused on solving infrastructure damage.

“Ensuring the structural safety and well-being of families after the strong earthquake, our specialized crews continue to work tirelessly alongside the Las Guacamayas ecological community circuit,” the institutional body reported on its Instagram account.

The work focuses on the priority recovery of the common areas of the building that were most impacted during the earthquake.

“Specifically, in the Santa Lucia Building located on Manuel Díaz Rodríguez Avenue in San Pedro Parish, the teams continuously carry out technical tasks, including the pecking and the frieze on the ground floor, which was heavily affected,” the publication explained.

The contingency plan is carried out under the supervision of national and regional authorities to ensure the effectiveness of the maneuvers on site.

“This ongoing effort is promoted under the guidelines of the president in charge, Delcy Rodríguez, and supervised by the Head of Government, Nahum Fernández, demonstrating that the institutional response is firm in the territory,” he said.

In addition, in another publication, it highlights that “steady progress is also being made to heal and condition the buildings affected by the earthquake, the operational team maintains a sustained pace in the Altamar building, in the El Recreo parish”

“The tasks are carried out continuously to ensure the stability of the spaces. This work is promoted under the guidelines of the President in Charge, Delcy Rodríguez, and supervised by the Head of Government, Nahum Fernández, reaffirming that the protection of the community is our priority,” he said.
