The governor of the state of Lara, Adolfo Pereira, reported that the Rehabilitation Plan for trunk lines one and four that connect the entity with Zulia and the Venezuelan Plains, respectively, is progressing satisfactorily.

He explained that in Troncal 4, which extends from the La Lucía bridge, located on the border between the states of Lara and Portuguesa, 2,200 tons of asphalt have been placed so far in May of this year. In a second phase, it will be completed with the emptying of an additional 1,500 tons, seeking to consolidate the road that connects the capital of the Palavecino municipality to the La Lucía bridge.

These works to beautify terrestrial communication routes also include improvements in signalling systems, demarcation with the application of road blocks (cats' eyes) and fenders, according to established standards.

On the other hand, on the road known as Lara - Zulia, which in its default is Troncal 1, rehabilitation work is also being carried out, with the local participation of the Lara Bella and Segura Foundation, as well as the Lara State Road Institute.
