The Dr. Plácido Daniel Rodríguez Rivero Central Hospital in San Felipe, Yaracuy state, rehabilitated the elective surgical area.

This was reported by the institution in a press release detailing that the infrastructure comes into operation immediately, with a medical day scheduled to treat 70 patients, including adults and children, during this week.

Governor Leonardo Intoci explained that the intervention of the spaces included the comprehensive adaptation of four operating rooms equipped with state-of-the-art medical technology, designed to perform procedures of medium and high complexity. He indicated that one of them will be used exclusively for pediatric surgeries.

The regional president meant that the pre-anesthetic room, the post-surgical recovery room and the osteosynthesis area were also equipped, and the teaching modules intended for medical personnel in training were adapted.
