Governments of Venezuela and the United States re-establish their diplomatic and consular relations

The Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela announced this Thursday, March 5, the decision to resume diplomatic and consular relations with the United States, after a mutual agreement with government authorities of that country.

“The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela announces that, after the established diplomatic dialogue with the authorities of the United States of America, both governments have decided to re-establish their diplomatic and consular relations,” announced the Government of Venezuela, through the telegram account of the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil.
