The governor of the state of Miranda, Elio Serrano, accompanied by Mayor Yuhismar Hernández, delivered comprehensive care areas at the headquarters of the Cristóbal Rojas Municipal Police, located in the Alvarenga community of the Herederos de Guaicaipura Commune, where the Tactical Canine Action Unit (K9) was also activated.

The works and areas put into service include the K9 Tactical Unit together with its veterinary unit with operating room, as well as spaces for the dignity of civil servants such as an adequate dining room and kitchen, an outpatient clinic for preventive and permanent medical care, the reception for citizen care and areas of operational coordination.

The governor stressed that the strengthening of police forces is related to the human care and health of the personnel.

“In this municipal police, we are in the order of 200 officials, and if something is important for its operation, it is precisely attention. That is why an effort has been made to improve their well-being and now they have a kitchen and dining room where they will be supplied with their food every day, in addition to an outpatient clinic for preventive care,” explained the regional president.

Serrano specified that the new police health center has an infirmary, ultrasound equipment and continuous medical service for preventive diagnosis and treatment of chronic diseases such as diabetes.
