Governor of Miranda installed the campaign command in Guarenas for the Popular Consultation

The governor of the state of Miranda, Elio Serrano, installed, from the roofed court of the Menca de Guarenas sector, the campaign command for the Popular Consultation on July 12.

Serrano urged grassroots structures to participate massively in the second consultation to be held this year, while stressing that “popular power has demonstrated great efficiency in the administration of resources and the execution of its projects, which allows us to see that the opportunity that the Bolivarian Government provided to the communities was right.”

According to information issued by the Government, during the activity, resources were provided for eight projects elected in the consultation of last March 8, “which demonstrates the legitimacy of communal leadership and seriousness”.

For his part, the mayor of Guarenas, Antonio Galíndez, praised the participation of the basic structures of the 24 communes and communal circuits of the Plaza municipality in the swearing in assembly.

“In Guarenas, in Miranda and in Venezuela, we have demonstrated that social leadership joins in a massive and leading way to participate in the Popular Consultation, which allows the joint construction of territories,” he said.
