The Governor
of La Guaira, Alejandro Terán,
commemorated Commander Hugo Chávez, on the 13th anniversary of his immortalization.
“Commander Chávez, today marks 13 years
since you became a sea of people, since that day you immortalized yourself in
the smile of protected older adults, in the dignified working class,
in the vindication of women's rights, in the struggle for social
justice, in the joy of humble people, in the eradication of
classes and the consolidation of a Venezuela for all,” Terán wrote on his Instagram account.
He also celebrated being one of the “
luckiest generation because we grew and were formed by your living example, with your mettle and
with that purpose that you never abandoned, which was to protect the humble,
build a homeland and guarantee a sovereign and respected Venezuela in the world.”
“Until victory always, Eternal Commander!
We will continue to overcome despite difficult times with your example of
courage and resilience and, of course, guided by our President Nicolás Maduro and the President in
Charge Delcy Rodríguez,” he added.
