Great debut! Venezuela dominated the Netherlands in its World Baseball Classic debut

The Venezuelan national team decisively defeated its counterpart from the Netherlands in the first match of the World Baseball Classic to be held in the United States.
In the match played at the LoanDepot Park stadium, in Miami, Florida, the Creole artillery began their offensive in the first inning when with a single by Luis Arraez they boosted Ronald Acuña Jr. to home.
In the second chapter, Venezuela put the game at 2-1 thanks to a solo home run by Javier Sanoja, this being the first home run for the Venezuelan national team.
Later, in the fifth inning, Venezuela extended the lead and set the score to 6-2 with races from Andrés Giménez, Ronald Acuña Jr., Maikel Garcia and Luis Arraez.
The Vinotinto lineup consisted of Ronald Acuña Jr, Maikel García, Luis Arráez, Willson Contreras, Salvador Pérez, Wilyer Abreu, Javier Sanoja, Andrés Giménez and Ranger Suárez as starting pitcher.
In the next match, on Saturday, March 7, at LoanDepot Park, the Criollos will face the whole of Israel at 8:00 at night (Venezuela time)
