GUÁRICO-EL SOMBRERO/Jorge Rodríguez: Community organization is Hugo Chávez's dream come true

The president of the National Assembly (AN), Jorge Rodríguez, stated that communal organization is “Hugo Chávez's dream come true”.

This was stated by the town of El Sombrero, in the state of Guárico, as part of the second stage of the Great National Pilgrimage. “I just wanted to congratulate you because you have made the dream of a supportive Venezuela a reality and a Christian Venezuela of Christ, not of the tinsel of the church (...) A Venezuela where we all help each other and we all own it,” he said.

He added that “here everyone came together to make decisions because the town is an owner. In the communes of Guárico, these owners agreed together with the governor to decide what they were going to do with their communes.”

The president of the AN commented that this year producers in the state of Guárico have not received credit, so he instructed a meeting with the public bank to make them possible in the coming days.
