The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, assured that 84% of the country's students attend free schools thanks to the efforts of the Bolivarian Government to maintain economic balance.

In this regard, he explained that with the income received by the country, the State manages to maintain “schools and lyceums and universities so that education is free and of quality (...) With that we built 500 thousand homes. What do we do with that? The 1x10 thing, everything that needs to be fixed, what do we do with that? pay workers' incomes”.

During the broadcast of episode #5 of the Maduro Podcast, the head of state specified that the strategy of indexing worker income responds to protection policies in the midst of the economic war, “so that increases in workers' income do not become salt and water.”

He also took stock of the economic progress that the country has achieved, thanks to the wisdom and resistance of both the public and private sectors.

In addition, he explained that in the last months of 2023, two key elements emerged; in the month of December, the lowest inflation score in 10 years was achieved and in 2023 the lowest lowest level of increase in the dollar.
