Head of State (E) Delcy Rodríguez: Venezuela today has an environment of security and stability

During the 4th edition of the Priority in Future Investment Initiatives summit, the president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, highlighted the actions taken by the Bolivarian Government to protect business opportunities for foreign companies.

In that sense, he mentioned “legal certainty” and the relevance of new laws, such as, “the Hydrocarbons Law, already enacted, such as the laws that are being discussed at this time that will also have an impact on different areas of the economy”.

Rodríguez stressed that another of the nation's advantages for foreign investment is represented by security, “Venezuela is today one of the safest countries in our region with three homicides per 100,000 inhabitants; when Latin America has 16.3% of homicides per 100,000 inhabitants. Ecuador has a 33% homicide rate per 100,000 inhabitants Venezuela today has an environment of security and stability.”


Finally, he celebrated “a very important achievement for the year 2025, where Venezuela after a decade already had zero fuel imports, all the fuel required for internal mobility was provided by the national introduction of our hydrocarbon industry.”
