The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, highlighted this Wednesday international solidarity with the country in the face of threats from the United States (USA).

From the Miraflores Palace, the head of state pointed out that this solidarity is being expressed with force, “especially now after Venezuela has been threatened with a nuclear submarine.”

“The Tlatelolco treaty, which prohibits the mobilization, use and manufacture of nuclear weapons throughout the territory of Latin America and the Caribbean, has been violated,” he criticized the deployment of a U.S. nuclear submarine off the Caribbean coast.

In this regard, he stressed that "Venezuela is receiving an impressive global solidarity because no country in Latin America and the Caribbean has ever been threatened with a nuclear submarine.” However, he confirmed that “no one is going to stop Venezuela. What we give is for the future, economically, socially”.

The Dignitary praised the admiration of the new ambassadors for the social, economic and commercial life of Venezuela. “They are very surprised because they say a thousand things in the world, but we Venezuelans are here quiet, working, studying, living, producing,” he stressed.
