From Ciudad Bolívar, the Head of State, Nicolás Maduro, assured that “I will never fall into the temptation of being a servile, manipulable president who is drawn to the interests of the North American empire.”

“My soul is pure and healthy because I have fulfilled the people. I have been loyal to the People, as well as to Commander Chávez, and I have not fallen into the temptation to betray them. Do you know how many times imperialism offered me to betray the People and hand over the Fatherland? They told me to go to a paradisiacal island at the cost of betraying the People and the Fatherland (...) I never will,” he said.

During a day of work with the labor force of basic companies, the National President said that “I am not a manipulable, weak, powerless President (...) there are those nine patarucos that nobody knows and only come out in elections to seek votes”.

The Head of State asked the People, “Do you know where those patarucos came from? , "and urged them to take that discussion to their bases, to their streets, to their homes. “They are puppets with surnames, manipulable and puppets. These are weak people who get involved in electoral campaigns to make a ticket and then go abroad. But to them I say: Don't get dressed because you're not going.”
