The Venezuelan right wants to seize power in the country to apply “the Milei formula in Argentina” and hand over our Guiana Essequiba to the United Kingdom and to the transnational oil companies, said the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro.

“Here they intend to apply the Milei method. He arrived in Argentina and the first thing he did was recognize the sovereignty of the United Kingdom over the Falklands. This is how they intend to come (the Venezuelan opposition) to recognize the colonial dispossession of the British Empire and Exxon Mobil on our Guiana Essequiba. We are not going to allow it, the Essequibo is Venezuelan,” said the Head of State during the closing of the parade on the occasion of the 213th Anniversary of the Declaration of Independence and Day of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces.

In this regard, the President reiterated his call to the Government of Guyana to, based on the provisions of the Geneva Agreement, return to the dialogue table to resolve the territorial dispute in peace.

In the same way, he assured that if the right came to power, it would try to hand over our territory so that imperialism could set up military bases. “Venezuela will never be the military base of any empire,” he stressed.
