“A total of 3,500 families have already returned to their homes or have received a new home,” said the President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, from her Telegram channel.

During the day of this Friday, the president handed over 564 buildings to those affected by the double earthquake in the country.

In this regard, he explained that the distribution of housing was carried out simultaneously in the capital and in the interior of the country. “From Fuerte Tiuna and in different states of the country, we provide housing to families affected by the double earthquake,” Rodríguez said through his social networks.

In addition, the head of state highlighted the provision of temporary spaces for those who have not yet received their final home. “We also enabled 80 transitory single-family units to provide a housing solution to those who were still in camps,” he said.

The president highlighted the progress in this area and ratified the commitment of the National Executive to continue serving the victims. “We are continuing to work, because there are still families waiting and we have a commitment to fulfill!” , the president pointed out, referring to the goal of restoring the living conditions of the population.
