Head of State: Venezuela defeated hyperinflation and we are defeating inflation

During the National Economic Council in the Los Andes Region, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, assured that Venezuela “defeated hyperinflation and we are defeating inflation and in May we had the lowest inflation.”

He also highlighted that today Venezuela has managed to defeat the operators that destabilized the currency exchange and enjoys great stability with the new exchange system.

“We also defeated the appalling shortage we had and since we have a 100% supply with domestic production from all over the country,” he said, referring to the fact that Venezuela is working on a gradual recovery of all sectors.

In this regard, he stressed that if the Homeland has achieved all this under the worst circumstances, “one wonders what are we not going to be able to do with our economy in the coming years? Because the worst time has passed and what is coming is the best, what is coming is great, Venezuela is going to progress, recover and build itself economically, in infrastructure,” he said.
