Health Goes to School Program served students in Cojedes

The healthcare staff of the Ministry of Health of the state of Cojedes, held a day of the La Salud Goes to School program dedicated to specialized medical care in the educational unit “La Blanquera”, in the municipality of Ezequiel Zamora.
In this approach, more than 120 basic education students were directly benefited, where the multidisciplinary teams of the specialized network provided care in the areas of visual health, oral health, general medicine, vaccination days to complete the national immunization schedule, preventive weight and height evaluations for the student's nutritional monitoring.
This sectoral deployment, according to a press release from the ministerial portfolio, was actively accompanied by health committees and the organized community, demonstrating the efficiency of the management-people binomial, to respond directly to the social protection policies promoted by the National Executive, in order to increase the health of boys and girls in school stages.
