Hotel occupancy registered more than 87% in Barlovento during Easter 2026

Hotels, inns and lodgings in the municipalities of Brión, Andrés Bello and Pedro Gual, on the Barlovento axis of Miranda state, have exceeded 87% occupancy during the holidays for Holy Week 2026, to make the entity the preferred destination for locals and foreigners in the face of the massive influx of seasonal workers.

The Secretary of Tourism of Miranda State, Alexandra Blanco, assured that the regional government has created optimal conditions with the objective of positioning Miranda as a tourist reference state. “We are extremely happy to see that Mirandinos and residents of other states of the country choose the coast of Barlovento as their vacation destination,” he said.

The region is still waiting for tourists to arrive in the state and in that regard, Blanco extended the invitation to visit Miranda.

“Here we are waiting for you with our beaches, rivers and spas. Enjoy our cuisine and all the cultural and recreational riches that Miranda has to offer,” he said.
