In Valencia! Third phase of rehabilitation began in Ciudad Hospitalaria Enrique Tejera

Within the framework of the Hospital Infrastructure Recovery Plan, “Dr. José Gregorio Hernández” began the third phase of rehabilitation of the Dr. Enrique Tejera Hospital City (CHET) in Valencia.
The work, articulated between the Ministry of Health (MPPS), Ministry of Public Works (MPPOP) and the Government of Carabobo; which will cover the waterproofing of different areas such as Blood Bank, General Laboratory, Central Pharmacy and the Hematology Center.
According to a press release, the work crews, who are already in the hospital center, will deploy 2,500 square meters of waterproofing for the recovery of the roofs of these important services. This was reported by Alexander Leal, the single health authority of the state of Carabobo, who indicated that this third phase also contemplates the total rehabilitation of the National Service of Medicine and Forensic Sciences (SENAMECF).
“These important works complement the total refraction of our hospital city, which translates into quality care for patients from Carabobo and the center of the country,” she said during a tour with MPPOP staff and the director of CHET, Carmen Vásquez.
Leal assured that these works are in addition to the rehabilitation of important services, where they are expected to be equipped to leave them in optimal functioning and thus strengthen the National Public Health System (SPNS) in the entity. “Since 2025, CHET has undergone a total remodeling that has made it possible to unquestionably improve the care of all patients and thanks to national and regional integration, different works have been added in the areas that still require it,” he added.
