The National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (INAMEH) warned of the development of rains of varying intensity with occasional electric shocks for this Sunday, due to the displacement of Tropical Wave No. 28, which interacts with the intertropical convergence zone and the monsoon trough.

The institute explained that during the morning, partial to fragmented cloud cover is expected with showers in Delta Amacuro, Monagas, Bolivar, Amazonas, Apure, Falcón, the Andean region and southern Zulia, in addition to scattered drizzles in Miranda, La Guaira and the Capital District.

In the afternoon and evening, a progressive increase in rainfall is expected in much of the country, being more intense and frequent in Guiana Essequiba, the east, the plains, the Andes, the south of Zulia and Greater Caracas.
