Indigenous communities in the Amazon received a day of comprehensive medical care

Members of the original Yekuana, Jivi, Piaroa and Yeral ethnic groups in the state of Amazonas benefited from a day of comprehensive medical care.
According to a press release from the Ministry of Health, 117 people received care in areas such as general medicine, PDR malaria, endocrinology, nutritional assessment, drug delivery and immunization.
In addition, the deployed medical team provided educational sessions to gain knowledge of the diseases that can be acquired in the area.
