INFOCENTRO started robotics and programming training workshop for young people in Trujillo

Last Monday, August 31, the Robotics and Programming Training Workshop began for 20 young university students from the state of Trujillo, which will last two weeks and will take place at the facilities of the Mega Robotics Center of the Mario Briceño Iragorry Territorial Polytechnic University (UPTTMBI), San Luis nucleus, Valera municipality.

This initiative is jointly promoted by the Ministry of Science and Technology (MINCYT), through the Foundation for the Development of Science and Technology in the entity (FUNDACITE Trujillo), the INFOCENTRO Foundation, the Venezuelan Federation of University Students (FVEU) and the May 8 Student Movement of the University of Los Andes, Rafael Rangel nucleus (ULA NURR).

According to a press release, during the training cycle, participants address key content in basic programming language, design with Tinkercad, general electronics and initiation to robotics. In this regard, the president of FUNDACITE Trujillo, Francisco Garzo, highlighted the importance of integrating youth into these spaces to strengthen university education and move towards the communalization of science.
