Isabel Iturria: Children's Cardiologist performed more than 120 interventions between January and February

La Sectorial Vice President of Science, Technology, Ecosocialism and Health to Dr. Isabel Iturria, pointed out that at the Dr. Gilberto Rodríguez Ochoa Children's Cardiology Center, more than 120 interventions were performed between January and February.
Durante an interview given to the State channel, Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), added that since its creation, promoted by Commander Hugo Chávez, this center has carried out 15,000 operations.
“There are girls and boys, there are families, there are mothers who have at home a boy, a girl who could be operated on in this world, which is our world of hope and not of threat,” she said.
Asimismo, pointed out that “pediatric cardiology is an extraordinary achievement of health and life planted throughout the national territory (...) That's what you call moving from resistance to offensive, to offensive for peace and life.”
