“This pilgrimage has to cover us all, no one can be left out,” said the president of the National Assembly (AN), Jorge Rodríguez, disseminated a message through his Telegram channel in which he reiterated that the national pilgrimage is advancing as a space of union and common purpose for the country.

From Barquisimeto, the musical capital of Venezuela, Rodríguez pointed out that “we are united by the same song: Gloria al Bravo Pueblo”, stressing that the tour connects with the cultural roots of the Venezuelan people. He recalled that the day included meetings in the land of cují and cardón, in the state of Lara, where he held a meeting with members of civil society at the Juares Theater and an exchange with the community of Santa Rosa.

The President of the Parliament affirmed that popular participation in Lara demonstrated, once again, that Venezuela is a mixture of cultures, faith and resistance. He stressed that this collective force must be aimed at defending the territory and overcoming sanctions that have affected the country's economic stability.

Rodríguez reiterated that the common objective is to move towards a Venezuela free of sanctions and with conditions for national prosperity, a purpose that, he said, guides every stage of the pilgrimage.
