Jorge Rodríguez to Chávez: We find you every day in the smiles of women, men and children

The president of the National Assembly (AN), Jorge Rodríguez, honored the legacy of Commander Hugo Chávez 13 years after his planting.

Through his social networks, Rodríguez stated that the figure of Chávez is still present in the country's daily life.

“Eternal Commander: We meet you daily. In the smile of women, men and children, in every battle and, above all, in victories,” he said.

The parliamentarian stressed that Chávez occupies a central place in national political memory.

“Today we honor the undefeated leader and the strategist; the friend of difficult days, the father who, with his firm and loving word, taught us that politics is an act of surrender for our people,” he said.

Rodríguez added that, in his opinion, Chávez's legacy continues to influence public action. “Your heart became a people and guides us with every beat,” he said.
