Jorge Rodríguez: We are one people united by history

“We are one people united by the history and energy of this sacred soil,” said the president of the National Assembly (AN), Jorge Rodríguez, who shared on Telegram his experience during the day of the Great Pilgrimage in the state of Amazonas.

Rodríguez pointed out that the state received him with spiritual expressions of the original peoples, through songs, prayers and rituals that accompanied the progress of the activity. He indicated that this meeting allowed us to reaffirm the cultural ties that integrate the indigenous, black and European roots present in the national identity.

The President of the Parliament stressed that the Great Pilgrimage continues its journey as a space for connecting with communities and strengthening traditional practices that are part of the country's historical heritage.
