The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, appointed the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, as the new godmother of the state of Lara.

In a meeting with the revolutionary militancy of the Iribarren municipality of the capital of Larense, Maduro instructed Rodríguez to hold an emergency Council of Ministers in this entity next Monday to address problems in popular neighborhoods.

“On Monday, at 11 in the morning, here in Barquisimeto you bring the Minister of Water and Transport and they make me an emergency Council of Ministers to address the problems of the popular neighborhoods,” he said.

In this regard, he recognized that there are problems in some popular sectors, so he made this decision to accelerate actions in favor of the People.
