The Simón Bolívar de Maiquetía International Airport (IAIM), in the state of La Guaira, issued a series of recommendations to users of temporary terminals.

Through its account on the social network Instagram, the IAIM reported that passengers must arrive two hours in advance for domestic flights and three hours in advance for international flights, and they recommend that they check in first at the airlines that allow it.

To access domestic and international flights, they recommend disembarking vehicles in the lower part of the airport and climbing the ramp to the terminals, where only people who are going to travel are allowed to enter. With regard to baggage, the airport institution stressed that there are no changes in the policies or dimensions allowed for it.

In addition, to find out if the flight will depart from Maiquetia Airport, passengers are urged to confirm their travel itinerary directly with the airline or travel agency.

The available parking will be on the top floor. Likewise, a road between terminals will be set up for passengers in transit to national or international destinations. The Maiquetía Airport facilities will have a VIP lounge, whose access will be paid and managed by the airport.
