Manuela Sáenz monument unveiled in the Santa Eduviges sector of Caracas

The president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez Gómez, unveiled a monument dedicated to Manuela Sáenz, the heroine and fundamental figure of Spanish-American independence.

The ceremony took place as part of the inauguration of the remodeling and comprehensive rehabilitation works of the Santa Eduviges sector, a strategic project included in the Rehabilitation Plan of the General Cemetery of the South.

This intervention has a positive impact on the quality of life of more than five thousand families belonging to the Southern Star Commune.

The execution of this project was led in an articulated manner by the Mayor's Office of Caracas and the Ministry of People's Power for Public Works. The deployment at the “Freedom of the Revolution” Community Council reached significant milestones in infrastructure and services.
