The team from the Ministry of Popular Power for Culture (MINCULTURA) is taking the final touches to inaugurate this coming April 19, the Venezuelan pavilion at the Venice Biennial “Participatory Experience”, led by the artist Juvenal Ravelo.

The project has been working on for several months, and consists of the fact that the work of the artist Juvenal Ravelo will be exhibited in the Venezuelan pavilion in the country, one of them is a large mural measuring 2.40 by 27 meters that will be painted by all the public that attends this pavilion, so that the spectator is also a participant in the work, explained the Deputy Minister for Arts, Image and Space, Mary Pemjean.

In this regard, he indicated that “we already have the impression of the canvas that has what will be the master's work marked, so that it can be painted with the colors it wears, which can be viewed as part of his project and which gives him that multiplicity of colors and the kinetism that characterizes him. The artist designed a composition with specific geometric shapes, and a programming of colors in harmony by contrast and analogy”.

Upon entering the pavilion, the spectator will be presented with a work measuring two by 34 linear meters, consisting of aluminum tubes measuring two meters long, four meters wide and one meter deep.

This piece generates in the observer a real experience of immersive art, due to the staging of the tubular structures, and the range of colors that make it up stimulate the artistic concept in which the uniqueness of each individual's perspectives generates an indelible experience of light and colors, as well as the planes reflected through reflective elements.
