Minister Cabello: Government promotes actions in the country's coastal area to reactivate tourism

The Minister of Popular Power for Tourism, Daniella Cabello, assured that the Bolivarian Government, together with the communities of the Venezuelan coast, is carrying out actions to establish work routes, with the purpose of reorienting local commerce and contributing to the rebirth of the economy focused on the tourism sector.

In a special program broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión, he reported that teams from this ministerial body are implementing a special plan that contemplates the implementation of new tourist corridors close to the central region, as an alternative for tourists for the vacation season, following the seismic emergency registered in the central north Venezuelan coastal region.

In that regard, he explained that it is a plan guided by the President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez.

He stated that the state of La Guaira, during the holiday season, received around three million people, “where they enjoyed its beaches and all the tourist sites that the entity has.”

Cabello referred to the deployment carried out from Falcón, “passing through Tucacas, Carabobo, Isla Larga, Playa La Rosa, Puerto Cabello, Miranda and we were also on the eastern axis of La Guaira. We went to Anzoátegui, the island of Margarita, trying to encourage this activity, because it's a way to help and tourist service providers want to work, they want to receive people and that's the best way we have right now, which is to visit these spaces.”

On the other hand, he explained the maintenance protocol for the Mukumbarí Cable Car System, in the capital of the state of Mérida, which has guaranteed the enjoyment and safety of more than 40,000 users.
