President reaffirmed the Government's determination to turn Venezuela into an oil power

This Friday, September 4th, the president in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, reaffirmed the determination of the Bolivarian Government to transform Venezuela into an oil producing power.

In that regard, he emphasized that “we are the country with the largest oil reserves, but we also want to be a producing power and that this production translates into the happiness of the Venezuelan people.”

He assured that the energy agreement signed between Venezuela and the United States resumes a historic relationship between the two nations, while confirming that Bolivarian Peace Diplomacy is the mechanism used to promote the economic future of Venezuela.

This was stated by the president in charge during the Meeting with Workers in the Oil Industry, in which she pointed out that thanks to the efforts of the oil working class, the milestone of one million 200 thousand barrels per day of crude oil was achieved in December 2025.

He pointed out that the recent agreements reached in the area of energy will allow Venezuela to become a producing power, as well as an exporter of gas and petrochemicals.

He also stressed that the state oil company Petrleos de Venezuela (PDVSA) is the country's first industry, but it must also be the first oil industry in the world.

In that regard, he expressed his appreciation for the work carried out by the PDVSA board of directors regarding the negotiations recently concluded to consolidate development and that this translates into well-being for the entire Venezuelan population.
